STORY:

A website shows a dying elderly man (Delhi Ganesh). As the viewership increases, he passes away. Coming to know about this, the city police commissioner (Y Gee Mahendra) asks the cyber crime wing to probe.

Even as the investigation starts by officers (Erode Mahesh and Swetha Menon), a journalist is shown dying in the same portal. Enters a special officer (Ganesh Venkatraman), who heads the probe now.

To the shock of everyone, the police officer (Mahesh) himself is now shown dying in the website. With the next targeting being the woman officer, is the special officer able to unravel the mystery?

ANALYSIS:

Directors duo Shankar-Suresh have helmed Inayathalam, a film which is a thrilling ride that goes deep into cyber crimes.

Ganesh Venkatraman once again shines as police officer, while Swetha Menon delivers a matured performance. Erode Mahesh is good at serious scenes, but fails to evoke laughter.

Y Gee Mahendra and Delhi Ganesh add value to the movie. Karthik Raja’s cinematography helps the film to maintain the momentum, while Arrol Corelli’s background score is good.

Though Shankar-Suresh have won in story selection and roping in the cast and the crew, they have missed out on presenting the film in a racy manner. But still, Inayathalam impresses in parts.
