Eternal love
STORY:
Jaya (Radhika Preethi) is the granddaughter of a temple priest (Mouli). She is in deeply love with Priyan (Rejith Menon), a doctor.
But she is yet to confess her love for him and lives in a dream world. One day, with the help of her grandfather, she decides to meet Priyan.
When Jaya and her grandfather are on their way to meet Priyan, a mishap happens. While Jaya’s health condition becomes serious, her grandfather dies in the accident.
But his spirit is not ready to die and resolves to help Jaya unite with her lover. Is the mission a success or not forms the crux of Embiran.
ANALYSIS:
Debutant director Krishna Pandi has delivered a neat story with a novel idea. He has penned good characters and has chosen right talents to perform them.
Without any double meaning dialogues, uncomfortable scenes and sleazy ideas, he has presented a decent movie which can be watched with the whole family.
Rejith Menon has emoted well, but his accent carries lot of Malayalam. Radhika Preethi is very beautiful and speaks through her eyes. Veteran Mouli has delivered beautiful performance.
Prasanna’s music helps the movie, especially the song Nee Thondrum Oru Nodiyil. Pugazhenthi’s cinematography is another advantage. Manoj’s editing has avoided confusions.
To make the story, which has good content for a short-film, as a feature film, the director has added certain unwanted things. But for this, Embiran is a decent love story.
