Doctor movie review
Sivakarthikeyan is a doctor who is engaged to Priyanka Arul Mohan.
Their engagement is called off due to certain circumstances.
Meanwhile, Priyanka’s niece is kidnapped on the same day by a human trafficking gang.
How Sivakarthikeyan manages to save the niece forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
Director Nelson Dhilipkumar has banked on his writing which is his major strenght.
He has succeeded in delivering an engaging and entertaining flick and also giving a complete new makeover to Sivakarthikeyan.
Sivakarthikeyan has minimal dialogues and expressions throughout the movie.
Though initially this seems unnatural, it suits the movie as it progresses. One of the major strength of the movie is its cast. Every character has a part to play and the actor in that particular role has executed it well.
The combination scenes between Yogi Babu and Redin Kinslin are a riot.
Deepa does her portion well. Priyanka comes throughout the movie and does a decent job. Vinay is terrific as the antagonist.
The film is technically sound as well. Vijay Kartik Kannan’s camera work is extraordinary. Anirudh’s music elevates the movie to another level.
