Biskoth Movie Review

STORY:

Raja’s (Santhanam) father Dharamarajan (Aadukalam Naren) along with Narasimman (Anandaraj) is a small-time biscuit maker. Naren dreams of building a big biscuit company which should be lead by his son.

However, he dies suddenly following which Raja starts working as an employee under Narasimman. Raja has the habit of visiting an orphanage regularly and helping the people there.

The newest member of the orphanage (Sowcar Janaki) starts telling stories to Raja which start to happen in his real life.
Does her story ends on a happy note forms the rest of the story.

ANALYSIS:

Director Kannan has made the movie based on Hollywood’s Bedtime Stories. He has localised the content to make it suited for the regional audience.

Santhanam is at his witty best and carries the entire movie on his shoulder. Naan Kadavul Rajendran and Lollu Sabha Manohar add to the humour element.

The two heroines of the film Swathi Muppala and Tara Alisha Berry have nothing much to do. The movie becomes more like a play and the comedy falls flat at times.

Shanmugasundaram’s camera works adds colour to the story and Ratnam’s music is a good value addition. The movie has its highs and lows but can be watched for the few comedies that click.
