Tamil comedian-actor Robo Shankar passes away at 46
The Tamil film and television industry is in mourning following the untimely demise of popular comedian and actor Robo Shankar, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 46.
The actor, known for his trademark humor and mimicry, breathed his last at GEM Hospital, Chennai, where he was admitted after collapsing on a film set. According to hospital sources, his death was due to jaundice and multi-organ failure.
Robo Shankar rose to fame through his appearances on television comedy shows, particularly Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru, before transitioning into films.
