Suriya’s Scene gears up for Dubai event ahead of Deepavali release

Anticipation is building around Suriya’s upcoming film Scene, which is scheduled to reach theatres on November 6 for Deepavali. The makers have announced a pre-release event in Dubai, giving fans an opportunity to celebrate the film ahead of its theatrical debut.

The event is scheduled for October 25 at Silicon Central Mall. Although the production team has yet to confirm the full programme, expectations are growing that the film’s trailer and audio may be unveiled at the gathering.

Directed by Jithu Madhavan, Scene features Suriya in the role of a police officer. Nazriya and Naslen also play prominent roles, while Anandraj, Lal and Raj Priyan are part of the cast.

The film has attracted attention partly because of Madhavan’s previous work. His earlier directorials, Romancham and Aavesham, established a distinctive approach to character-driven storytelling, leaving audiences curious about how he will present Suriya in his new project.

Scene also marks the Tamil cinema debut of director Jithu Madhavan and music composer Sushin Shyam. Their reunion has generated interest among viewers familiar with their earlier collaborations.

Two songs, “Aathi Iva Yarraa” and “Aeroplane”, have already been released, with the music drawing positive attention from listeners.

The project is produced by Suriya and his wife Jyotika under their Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment banners. The technical crew includes cinematographer Vineeth Augustian, editor Ajmal Sabu, production designer Ashwini Kale, art director A Rajesh and stunt choreographer Chethan D’Souza.

Scene is set for a competitive Deepavali box-office window, opening on the same day as Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman 2 and Ramayana: Part 1, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. With the Dubai event approaching, fans are now waiting for further promotional material that could reveal more about the film’s story and Suriya’s character.
