Suriya, who is said to be playing a high-rank National Security Guard officer in his 37th film being directed by K V Anand, was in Noida recently, where he met NSG commandos.
Suriya met brigadier Gautham Ganguly and took some important inputs from him to get his act right in the movie being bankrolled on a grand scale by Lyca Productions.
The actor later wrote on social media: “It will be a life time memory to have witnessed the patriotic n cordial side of Brigadier Gautham Ganguly!”
“Thank you for the warm welcome sir! My special respects to Mrs.Parveen Ganguly, Hats off to all at #NSG,” Suriya, who had played an army officer in Gautham Vasudev Menon-directorial Vaaranam Aayiram, added.
The actor also interacted with IPS DIG Shalin. “Dear Mr Shalin IPS DIG sir you made me feel like we knew each other for more than a decade, Owe you for all the guidance and Love..! #NSG,” he added.
Recently, director Hari has confirmed that his next film would be with Suriya. However, the director has said the film will not be a cop story like their Singam series, but will be a family action entertainer.
In the past, the filmmaker and the actor had come together for Aaru, Vel, Singam, Singam 2 and S3, it may be recalled.
Sources say that Suriya’s 2D Entertainment is likely to produce the new film of Hari which will go on floors only by mid of 2019.
