Superstar Rajinikanth Launches the First Look of Gautham Ram Karthik Starrer “ROOT – Running Out of Time”
The first look of “ROOT – Running Out of Time”, a sci-fi crime thriller produced by Verus Productions, was officially launched by none other than Superstar Rajinikanth, making the moment truly unforgettable for the entire team.
It was a proud and emotional occasion for the makers to present the visuals of ROOT to Thalaivar. The legendary actor graciously viewed the first look and a few glimpses from the film, appreciated the effort and vision of the team, and extended his heartfelt wishes for the project’s success.
For debut director Sooriyaprathap, this moment marked a truly special full-circle milestone. He had earlier worked as an associate director on Kochadaiiyaan, and now, his directorial debut’s first look being launched by the same Superstar Rajinikanth made the moment deeply emotional and unforgettable in his journey.
ROOT – Running Out of Time is written and directed by Sooriyaprathap S and stars Gautham Ram Karthik in the lead role, alongside Aparshakti Khurana (making his Tamil debut), Bhavya Trikha, Y. Gee. Mahendra, Pavni Reddy, Linga, RJ Anandhi, and others. The film explores a compelling sci-fi concept layered with intense emotional depth.
Shot extensively across Chennai and multiple locations, the project is progressing steadily and has now moved into its post-production phase.
