Vijay, who has completed the Neyveli schedule of Master, took a selfie with his fans from the sets of the movie. The actor took to Twitter to upload the photo, and since then it has gone viral.
Vijay even stood up on a bus to greet his fans. He even thanked them. “Thank you Neyveli,” Vijay captioned the selfie.
Meanwhile, Vijay has received a notice from the income tax department over the charge of tax evasion. According to reports, the actor has sought more time from the department for the same.
The development comes after the IT Department on Friday carried out a raid at the actor’s residence in Panaiyur area in Chennai. IT sleuths held searches in connection with the success of a recent film which was a box office hit, collecting around ₹300 crore.
In a statement last week, the IT department said Vijay’s investment in immovable properties and remuneration received from AGS Group for acting in a film (Bigil) was the focus of the search. The tax department also claimed to have detected Rs 300 crore hidden income during searches at Anbu Chezhiyan”s residence and office located here and in Madurai.
Anbu Chezhiyan is a movie financier and also owns a movie production house. About 38 premises were searched in Chennai and Madurai. The highlight was seizure of Rs 77 crore unaccounted cash, purportedly belonging to the financier, from hideouts, the IT department said.
