Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha’s next film titled 96 went on floors today. The project began with a pooja ceremony in Chennai, following which the shoot commenced.
Vijay Sethupathi plays a wildlife photographer in 96 and he will be sporting a new look for the film, according to sources.
Mollywood composer Govind Menon of 100 Days of Love fame takes care the songs and background score of 96, which is being bankrolled by Nanthagopal of Madras Enterprises.
The film marks the directorial debut of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kanom cinematographer Premkumar, who is also a longtime friend of Vijay Sethupathi.
96 is touted to be a film set in the 90s. Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi’s crime thriller Vikram Vedha co-starring R Madhavan, is in the post-production stage, and he is already shooting for three different projects.
