Stalin to hold meeting to discuss about prepartions ahead of reopening of schools
Tamilnadu Chief Minister M K Stalin will be holding a meeting with officials to discuss about the measures taken for reopening of schools on 1 September.
The Tamilnadu government has already issued SOP for reopening schools.
Classes 9-12 students will attend classes from September 1 with 50 per cent attendance.
Schools will function six days a week and classes and sections will be split into batches of not more than 20 students per classroom, as per the SOP.
If no additional rooms are available, then students will be asked to come to school on a rotational basis on alternate days.
Online or distance learning will continue to be an alternate mode of teaching.
