Stalin hoists National flag at Fort St George

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Tuesday hoisted the national flag at the Fort St George in Chennai on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day.

Before hoisting the flag, Stalin accepted the parade salute of the tri-forces and police. Tamil Nadu Ministers, legislators and many others are participating in the event.

Delivering the Independence Day address after hoisting the tricolour flag at the Fort St George, he said all those subjects that have a direct connect to the people must be moved into the state list of the constitution.

He said only if education is moved to the state subject, qualifying examinations like NEET can be scrapped.

The Chief Minister also stressed upon the growth of state by following Dravidian model of governance that provides equal development and opportunity to everyone.
