Srivari Vastram from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Brought to Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Offered at Moola Brindavana
In a spiritually significant ceremony, the sacred Srivari Vastram was ceremoniously brought from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt at Mantralayam on an auspicious day marked by devotion and tradition.
TTD Bokkasam Superintendent Gururajachar arrived with the revered Srivari Vastram from Tirumala. TTD officials and pandits were accorded a traditional reception at the Mahadwaram and were ceremoniously escorted to the Sri Mutt through the Madhwa Corridor.
During a solemn ritual, Sri Gururajachar formally handed over the sacred Vastram to H.H. Sri Swamiji, who reverentially offered it to the Sri Rayara Moola Brindavana amidst Vedic chanting and devotional fervour.
Following the offering, TTD officials presented the Srivari Sheshavastram and prasadam to H.H. Sri Swamiji. In a gesture symbolizing mutual respect and spiritual harmony, His Holiness blessed Sri Gururajachar and the accompanying officials, honouring them with Sheshavastram, a memento, and phalamantrakshate.
The sacred occasion was graced by the presence of Union Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy and Hon’ble Justice Krishna S. Dixit of the Karnataka High Court, adding prominence to the ceremony.
The event witnessed participation from devotees and dignitaries, reinforcing the enduring spiritual bond between Tirumala and Mantralayam.
