SPB reveals Rajini’s ‘Darbar’ secrets including song situation

Veteran singer S P Balasubrahmanyam, who has crooned for the introduction song of superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Darbar’ directed by A R Murugadoss, has revealed some interesting pieces of information.

Speaking at a press conference in Kuala Lampur, he said, “Arumayana situation. He is an upright police officer in Mumbai, and a paarattu vizha is being held for him. But he questions the need for such a celebration, saying he had done just his duty.”

SPB added: “He then goes on to say that he’s a cop when he wears the khakhi, and when he removes his uniform, he’s one among the people, and andha mass-ku oru paatu paaduvar. Romba arumaya vandirukku… thanks Anirudh, thanks Superstar.”

In the film produced by Lyca, Rajinikanth plays a fearless police officer in Mumbai and Nayanthara will be seen as his romantic interest. Prateik Babbar, Suniel Shetty, Nivetha Thomas, and Yogi Babu are playing key roles in the flick, which has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Santosh Shivan.
