Veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam is the second Indian, after MS Subbulakshmi, to be performing at State Kremlin Palace, Moscow, to mark the festival of lights celebration by the Indian diaspora, on November 6.
As the legendary singer completed 50 years of singing, this year, television host and entertainer Badava Gopi along with his friend Vijayakumar will be organising a special concert as a part of the event.
Recently, Jilmore, an artists booking online platform, today announced that it has expanded its operations to the United States and the United Kingdom.
S P Balasubrahmanyam-mentored startup also plans to expand to Malaysia, Singapore, the UAE, Dubai, Canada and Switzerland over next six months, it said in a statement.
To meet its expansion plans, Jilmore raised Rs 1 crore from a clutch of investors, including UK-based NRIs. “JilMore enables entrepreneurs in their local area with more opportunities with franchise business model, which is expected to bring the future growth”, the company said.

SPB is a film playback singer, actor, music director, voice actor and film producer. He is mostly referred to as S. P. B. or Balu. He has won the Guinness World Record for recording the highest number of songs.
He won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer six times and the Nandi Awards in Telugu cinema 25 times from the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
