Soori’s Mandaadi teaser arrives ahead of September theatrical release
The makers of Mandaadi have unveiled the official teaser of the upcoming Tamil film, which features Soori in the lead role.
Directed and written by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, the film is scheduled to reach theatres on September 4. It marks Pugazhendhi’s second directorial venture after Selfie.
The story revolves around a traditional boat-racing competition associated with Tamil Nadu’s coastal communities.
Elred Kumar is producing the film under the RS Infotainment banner. The cast includes Suhas, Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Mithun Jai Sankar, Ravindra Vijay, Bala Saravanan and Stun Siva, among others.
GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music. The songs feature lyrics by Pa Vijay, Jayashree Mathimaran and Vaaheesan Rasaiya.
SR Kathir is the cinematographer, while Pradeep E Ragav handles editing and DRK Kiran serves as production designer. Action sequences have been choreographed by Peter Hein, Dilip Subbarayan and Mahesh Mathew. Elred Kumar has also contributed to the writing alongside R Mohanavasanthan and Thiral Sankar.
