Soori’s Maaman OTT release delayed
Maaman, starring Soori and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles, released in theatres in May and had been doing a good business, especially in towns and villages.
However, the Soori-starrer is yet to make its streaming debut. The streaming rights of Maaman have been bagged by ZEE5, and will soon be available on the platform.
However, the platform has not yet announced its release date. With ZEE5 just debuting Santhanam’s Tamil film DD Next Level only last week, one can expect that it wants to take some time before releasing Maaman.
With the film still running in selected theatres, it might take a little longer for the film to be available on OTT.
Maaman is a family drama, which revolves around the strong emotional bond between a man and his young nephew.
Directed by Vilangu fame Prasanth Pandiyaraj, the family drama is backed by Lark Studios. With Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the female lead, the cast of Maaman also includes Rajkiran, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Swasika and Baba Baskar.
