SJ Suryah’s directorial comeback will feature AR Rahman’s music
SJ Suryah, who made a smashing entry into the Tamil film industry, worked with Ajith Kumar and Vijay back-to-back, and gave hit directorial Vaalee and Kushi, respectively.
The director, after making a handful of films, became busy as an actor and went on to star in hit films like Maanaadu, Mark Antony and Jigarthanda DoubleX, to name a few. His last film as director was in 201,5 Isai.
However, ever since then, SJ Suryah was bombarded when he would make a comeback to direction. Recently, he announced that he is working on helming a film titled Killer.
On Monday, he announced that the music composer for Killer will be AR Rahman, who had also scored for Suryah’s films like Anbe Aaruyire and New.
Welcoming Rahman, Suryah wrote, “Yah it’s none other than OUR ISAI PUYAL, THE MUSICAL LEGEND, INDIAN PRIDE, OUR ONE N ONLY.”
Touted to be a romantic thriller, the film will be produced by the Malayalam production banner Sree Gokulam Movies. Suryah will serve as co-producer under his banner, Angel Studios. He will be starring in the lead role, besides directing and writing the film.
