Sivakarthikeyan’s super help to Dhruv Vikram

Vikram, whose son Dhruv Vikram is all set to make his acting debut with Adithya Varma, has said that  Sivakarthikeyan had penned lyrics for a song in the movie.

Speaking at the audio launch of Adithya Varma, Vikram said the song is a flawless one and has come out well. “Sivakarthikeyan agreed to write lyrics immediately when I approached him over a phone call,” said Vikram and thanked SK for his gesture.

Heaping laurels on director Gireesaaya and co-director Shaurya, Vikram said, “They were particular that the authenticity of the film was ensured.  They were very clear about what they wanted. Both Shaurya and Giri are like twins. Without Giri or Shaurya, this film couldn’t have been possible. I am also like an assistant director in this film.”

He also  thanked heroines Banita and Priya. Thanking his fans for all their love, actor Vikram said, “The only legacy that I am giving to my son is you my fans. You feel the same that my friends and famiily feel for Dhruv. That love comes automatically.”

Dhruv said, “I have no words for Appa. His dedication for this film was 100 per cent. I know that my dad is a good actor but more than that he is a great father. I am nothing without him. What you see in me is basically another facet of his.” Thanking his fans for all their love, the actor said that he was nothing without them.”

Priya Anand said, “When I worked with Sridevi ma’am in English Vinglish, I found her to be a wonderful mom. Similarly, while working in Adithya Varma, I found Vikram sir to be a wonderful and caring dad.”

Banitha said, “I am so indebted to you Vikram sir. Thank you for working so tirelessly everyday to make me and Dhruv look good.” Speaking about her co-star Dhruv, Banita said, ” I am so proud of you Dhruv. I am so honoured to be at the start of an incredible journey with you.”

The project is the remake of Tollywood hit Arjun Reddy. As expected, Vikram’s presence was the major highlight of the event as he spoke in detail about Dhruv and thanked the crew.
Though he is a star kid, life is not that easy for Dhruv Vikram, who is all set to make his acting debut with Adithya Varma. The film, a remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, was originally directed by Bala.

But the director walked out due to differences with producers and the movie had to be reshot fully. During an interaction with the students of Dr GR Damodaran College of Science in Coimbatore, Dhruv recalled various things.

He said, “When the teaser of Varma released, there was a lot of disapproval. When people pan your acting, you know what to work on and be a better actor. But, when it is about your appearance and looks, it can be quite demeaning and hard on you.

I had grown a beard for the first time ever in my life, for Varma. People said that it looked bad. But, I realised that criticism shouldn’t put you down. After all, everyone is entitled to their opinion.”
