The Tamil Film Producers Council has given its nod to the makers of Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Seema Raja to release the film on September 13.
Following this, it has become official that the film would hit the screens for Vinayaka Chathurthi. Lately, the TFPC is deciding the release dates of movies to avoid clash in the box-office.
It has also formed Release Regulation Committee, which would carefully consider the requests of producers and decide the release date.
Meanwhile, Samantha, the heroine of Seema Raja, has completed dubbing for the movie directed by Pon Ram and produced by RD Raja of 24 AM Studios.
Only recently Samantha completed dubbing for her another film Super Deluxe with Aaranya Kaandam filmmaker Thiagarajan Kumararaja and she will also soon finishing her work in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film U-Turn.
Recently, it was revealed that Keerthy Suresh had accepted to play a special cameo in the rural comedy entertainer film Seema Raja.
Pon Ram said that it was his rapport with the actress which made her give a nod when the makers approached her for the same.
“We’d never planned for a cameo. This was an impromptu decision, and we are happy that Keerthy immediately agreed to come on board. She will be seen in two scenes, the shooting of which were completed in one day,” he added.
