Sivakarthikeyan’s Chellamma sets new record

The first single from Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Doctor’ directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar has created a new record. The peppy song, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, has crossed 40 million views and counting. The song is rendered by Anirudh and Jonita Gandhi, with the lyrics penned by Sivakarthikeyan himself.

The lyrics of Sivakarthikeyan’s Chellamma has been penned by the actor himself. The song has been sung by Anirudh Ravichander and Jonita Gandhi. The song is a continuation of a previous video that was released by the makers. In the lyrical video of Chellamma, we can see the team sitting around each other and talking about the song.

Chellamma is focused majorly on the TikTok ban that was imposed in India a few days ago. At the start of the video, we can see Sivakarthikeyan telling Anirudh Ravichander that the song should be a hit. He also tells the music composer that the song should be all over the social media platform, TikTok. However, Anirudh Ravichander tells him that the app has been banned.

The first-look poster of the film, which was released on the actor’s 35th birthday, featured Sivakarthikeyan seated on a chair with bloodied gloves and a surgical knife in his hand.

Recently, there were reports that the team is planning to release the film on Christmas, December 25, 2020. They had already completed 80 per cent of the film’s shoot and the post-production work has been progressing at a brisk pace from May 11.

The lyrics, loosely translated, are on these lines: “Tik Tok has been banned these days / come out and sing duet with me / it’s time to loosen up / give me some sweet-loving”, and it goes on to talk about couple goals. More than anything, it’s a fun take on a relationship and the banter the couple has.
