Sivakarthikeyan makes inroads into AP, Telangana

Sivakarthikeyan’s 24 AM Studios produced Remo has successfully completed its fifty days theatrical run in Tamil Nadu and the Telugu dubbed version of the film has released on Friday in more than 500 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The Telugu version of the film under the same title released on Friday to much fanfare in Telengana and Andhra Pradesh.

Remo was again well marketed in the neighboring states much like how it was done in Tamil Nadu and abroad, which has reaped rich rewards for the team as the film has got tremendous response from the audiences.

Top producer Dil Raju has released the film in Telugu. Remo is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and has music from young heartthrob Anirudh Ravichander, which is also his fourth collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan.

Trade sources say that Remo is a perfect launching material for Sivakarthikeyan in Telugu, who already has solid market in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and traditional overseas areas.

The movie has managed to get fairly positive reviews from the Telugu critics. “Remo was a huge hit in Tamil only because of the hit pairing, superb chemistry, and Shiva Karthikeyan’s craze,” a review said.
