Sivakarthikeyan croons for Thaai Kizhavi’s peppy first single
Sivakarthikeyan has showcased his singing prowess once again in the first single from the upcoming film Thaai Kizhavi, starring Radikaa Sarathkumar in the titular role as Poun Thaayi.
Directed by debutant Sivakumar Murugesan, the song titled Thaai Kizhavi Varaa serves as the title song and establishes why her character is feared among villagers.
For the unversed, the film is presented by Sivakarthikeyan’s SK Productions.
Composed by Nivas K Prasanna, the song has lyrics by Karumathur Manimaran.
The teaser of Thaai Kizhavi, which was released last month, showed her character—an unapologetic matriarch-cum-usurer who beats goons and men in the village when they fail to repay money.
She doesn’t hold herself back from uttering swear words as well.
