Known for earning the criticism of producers, Simbu has won the admiration of Mathiyalagan of Etcetera Entertainment, producer of Hansika’s Maha in which STR is playing a cameo.
“Unlike what others say, he comes to the sets on time and super cooperative to the producers,” said Mathiyalagan, heaping laurels on Simbu.
He added: “We couldn’t arrange him a caravan but he took it easy and said that these things won’t come on the screen so asked us to start concentrating on the progress of the shoot.”
“While we were preparing for scenes, he preferred taking rest in an Innova car. Every day we are shooting his scenes in five different locations and it has been a hectic schedule for the entire time but STR didn’t even complain about anything. We shot him from 12 PM to 12.30 AM but still, he came fresh on the next day,” he said further.
The film is being directed by U R Jameel, who recently tweeted: “My thalaivan ( #Str #Simbu ) and my Thalaivi ( @ihansika ) #MAHA a U.R.JAMEEL film.”
Maha is the 50th film of Hansika and Ghibran is composing the music. Hansika recently suffered injury on the sets of Maha while performing a stunt sequence. She was given first-aid after which she continued the shoot, despite the team asking her to go home to take rest.
According to reports, the actress was shooting for an emotional scene, which required her to mouth some dialogues and do a somersault. She got bruised while performing the scene.
