Simbu to shoot in TR’s sets

Director Adhik has planned to recreate the 1980s feel for a song in Simbu’s Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan (AAA), by recreating some of the sets that featured in TR’s old hit songs.

The first look poster of Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan was released recently and it featured Simbu as a rustic Madurai Michael with a burning cigarrete in his lips.

STR plays a triple role in the film, which is being directed by Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara fame. The supporting cast includes Y.G.Mahendra, VTV Ganesh, ‘Naan Kadavul’ Rajendran and Mahath. Yuvan Shankar Raja is rendering the musical score.

The first schedule of the film has been wrapped up and the second schedule is all set to begin in Chennai. Shriya Saran is playing one of the three heroines.

In February 2016, Adhik Ravichandran revealed that his second directorial venture would star Silambarasan in the lead role, with several members of his crew from Trisha Illana Nayanthara being retained.

G V Prakash Kumar’s busy schedule meant that Yuvan Shankar Raja was signed on to be the music director of the film in June 2016.

Shriya Saran was signed on to appear as the lead heroine pairing opposite Simbu, marking her return to Tamil films after a long hiatus. For one of his roles in the film, Silambarasan put on significant weight and grew a beard.
