Silambarasan’s Arasan shooting kick starts in Kovilpatti

Arasan, directed by  Vetrimaaran and starring Silambarasan TR  in the lead with Vijay Sethupathi in a pivotal role, officially went on floors in Kovilpatti.

Arasan marks the long-awaited first collaboration between Silambarasan TR and acclaimed filmmaker Vetrimaaran.

The project is widely reported to be a gritty gangster drama, mounted on a large scale and shaped by the director’s signature raw and realistic storytelling style.

Silambarasan is said to be preparing for an intense, performance-driven role, one that aligns closely with the tone and texture associated with the Vada Chennai cinematic universe, further heightening curiosity around the character he will embody.
