Shriya Saran opposite Simbu: Shriya Saran, who was last seen in a cameo in Thozha, is all set to make her comeback in Kollywood as the female lead in Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangadhavan, which has Simbu in the lead.
The movie is being directed by Adhik Ravichandran, who shot to fame with the controversial Trisha Illana Nayanthara. Confirming that she is part of the movie, the Sivaji and Azhagia Tamil Magan actress said, “Yes, that’s true.” She added that she’s happy to be a part of AAA, which she called a “sweet film”.
According to sources, the team of AAA had approached Trisha to play the pair for the middle aged character and she reportedly rejected the offer. “Following this, Shriya has been roped in,” they said.
Shriya Saran is expected to play an aged character, who is the wife and mother of the characters enacted by Simbu. The actress is pairing up with the actor for the first time.
Meanwhile Yuvan Shankar Raja is busy composing the tunes for the film, which is produced by Michael Rayappan. Already he is done with three songs, it is learnt.
Simbu had earlier enacted double roles in films like Manmadhan and Silambattam. But this is the first time Silambarasan will be seen playing three characters in a movie.
