Shraddha Srinath’s new business

Shraddha Srinath of Madhavan-Vijay Sethupathi’s Vikram Vedha and Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai fame has floated a restaurant named Perse at Phoenix Market City, Velachery.

Announcing this in a social media post, she said, “To everyone that guessed restaurant – Yes! Maybe a little less than a restaurant but a little more than a cafe, definitely a LOT of good food… and simple.. and fresh.

And in my journey towards a better relationship with food, I’m one step closer to a cleaner & healthier lifestyle, which makes this one a little close to the heart.

So, here it is – @persechennai . I’m super thrilled to introduce Chennai’s coolest new salad bar & cafe -that gives you the choice to be healthy or indulgent with not-your-regular sandwiches, sweet crepes, a few other stunning concoctions & of course, if you’re in the mood for it, the healthy route – salads We’re swinging our doors open tomorrow, come show us some love!”.

On the work front, Shraddha Srinath has Vishal’s Chakra, Madhavan’s Maara, and a few more Kannada films in the pipeline.

Shraddha Srinath is an Indian film actress who predominantly appears in Kannada and Tamil films. She has also appeared in a number of Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam films.

She gained wide acclaim for her role in the Kannada psychological thriller U Turn (2016) for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress and also for her performances in Jersey, Urvi, Vikram Vedha , Nerkonda Paarvai and Operation Alamelamma. For the latter, she won Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics) – Kannada award. She won the Zee Cine Award Telugu 2020 as the Best find of the year – female.

Shraddha was born in the Command Hospital in the town of Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir. Her father was an officer in the Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army and her mother was a school teacher. Her family hails from Karnataka, and their mother tongue is Kannada.

She was raised all over India and lived in the towns of Suratgarh (Rajasthan), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Dharchula (Uttarakhand) Belgaum (Karnataka), Silchar (Assam), and Secunderabad (Telangana). After graduating from 12th from Army School Secunderabad, she moved to Bangalore to study Law at the Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies.
