Shooting plans of Vijay-64, SAC offers prayers in Palani

Known for his perfect plans, director Lokesh Kanagaraj is at it again. He has planned to wind up the shoot of Vijay’s upcoming film, fondly called as Thalapathy 64, in just 120 days and has already completed major portions. That too, he has planned to shoot the movie without any break.

Most of the actors including Vijay has given bulk dates to the film so there won’t much gap between each schedule. As Vijay Sethupathi is busy with several projects in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, his portions will be canned from December and they are planning to complete his scenes in one go.

Mollywood Lintu Rony recently joined the sets of the movie. She has posted a pic of herself confirming the news – “Image is what people think, we are, Integrity is what we really are GOOD MORNING #Thalapathy64 #Delhi #indiagate.”

The shooting of Thalapathy 64 began in Delhi recently and sources in the know say that it is a 40-day schedule. Malavika Mohanan has been roped in to pair up with Vijay in this entertainer and the star cast also includes Andrea Jeremiah, Antony Varghese, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Sriman, Srinath, Sanjeev Gouri Kishan, Brigida and VJ Ramya in supporting roles.

The project is progressing at a brisk pace and speculations state that the film, bankrolled by XB Film Creators, will get a release on April 9 next year.  Thalapathy 64 has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan.

Ramya feels that her life has become a full circle now. “I have been a fangirl since forever. Being a fan, hosting his audio launches, and now, to be sharing screen space with him makes the circle complete. I am really thrilled to be a part of this film,” she revealed.

Meanwhile, Vijay’s father and veteran director S A Chandrasekhar has offered prayers at the renowned Lord Dhandayuthapani Swamy temple in Palani. A picture of him at the temple has been doing rounds on the social media. It is said he offered prayers to thank the God for the ‘success of Bigil’.
