ShareChat & Moj’s Quick TV unveils India’s first AI-powered microdrama slate, expanding the future of short-form storytelling

After pioneering AI-assisted filmmaking with Main Amar Hoon, the platform announces six new AI-powered microdramas set to launch in August

Mumbai, 4th August 2026: As artificial intelligence rapidly transforms the creative economy, QuickTV by ShareChat & Moj is taking a significant step in redefining premium short-form entertainment. Building on the successful launch of the AI-assisted microdrama Main Amar Hoon, the platform is set to unveil its first dedicated AI-powered microdrama slate this August, comprising six original series that blend compelling storytelling with next-generation production technologies. The announcement is part of Mohalla Tech’s broader vision to scale AI-generated entertainment, with the company planning to invest up to INR 100 crore over the next year to significantly expand AI-powered microdrama production while strengthening its AI talent and production capabilities.

Last month in June, Main Amar Hoon became one of the first Indian microdrama series to be produced using a pioneering hybrid production pipeline that combines live-action filmmaking, motion capture, advanced visual effects and generative AI. Rather than replacing human creativity, the technology enhances it by transforming real performances into cinematic fantasy worlds while preserving the emotional depth of actors’ performances. The series marked an important milestone in demonstrating how AI can unlock ambitious visual storytelling within the fast-growing microdrama format.
Based on the growing interest in its repertoire of AI-generated micro dramas that have witnessed Episode-20 completion rates of ~50%, leading the August slate for Quick TV is “Pashu Samrat” which is an epic fantasy that follows Dev, an ordinary farmer who unknowingly carries the divine strength of Mahadev. As rival kingdoms and dark forces threaten his world, he embarks on a journey from an outcast to the legendary Pashu Samrat.

Adding a unique time-bending twist to the line-up is “Badshah Benaqab”, set against the backdrop of a royal kingdom, the series follows Dheerendra, a scholar who secretly lives as a legendary warrior. As he protects the kingdom from enemies and uncovers a deadly conspiracy, his hidden identity becomes the key to its survival.

The August slate further includes “Port Ka King”, a rags-to-riches drama centred on Shiva, a fisherman from Goa whose life changes after discovering a rare marine treasure. His rise from a struggling labourer to one of the region’s most powerful entrepreneurs is tested by betrayal, ambition and fierce rivalry. “Odiyan” which is inspired by Indian folklore, the series follows Samar, an underestimated young man with extraordinary shape-shifting abilities. As ancient evils threaten the kingdom, he embraces his destiny to become its greatest protector.

Another Fantasy drop to the slate is “Jadugar Rajkumar”, a fantasy adventure about Prince Rudransh, who hides his magical powers behind the façade of an irresponsible heir. Battling palace conspiracies, dark forces and family betrayal, he ultimately emerges as the kingdom’s true guardian.
Quick TV will further expand its storytelling canvas as they plan to introduce “Hamari Lucky Jia”, an emotional family drama about Jia, a young girl blessed with miraculous healing powers. Separated from her family at birth, her journey of love, reunion and resilience unfolds as she brings hope and happiness to everyone around her.

While each series explores a distinct narrative universe, they are united by a common creative approach that blends traditional filmmaking with AI-assisted production workflows. Quick TV continues to strengthen its position in India’s fast-growing micro-drama ecosystem by delivering emotionally immersive, mobile-first stories tailored for audiences seeking quick yet impactful entertainment experiences.
The new originals will premiere exclusively on Quick TV throughout August!
