Shankar recreates Ukraine for Rajini’s 2.0

Believe it or not, Shankar is making it. Yes, an entire Ukraine themed song is to be recreated in VFX for Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0, a sequel to Enthiran.

Initially, the team had plans to shoot in Ukraine but considering Rajinikanth’s health condition, they completed the song in India but the backdrop will be changed, thanks to international CG experts, who are working 24*7 for the particular number.

According to sources, all the scenic locations across Ukraine have already been captured and they will recreated in VFX for this song! The backdrop for the romantic number will be changed and the CGI experts are already working on it.

It is said that Shankar has completed nearly 80% of the film, which is slated for Diwali 2017 release. Akshay Kumar plays the baddie in 2.0, the film also has Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain playing pivotal roles.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar landed the role of the main villain in the film. However, he was definitely not the first choice. A slew of actors such as Kamal Haasan, Aamir Khan, Vikram, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hrithik Roshan and Neil Nitin Mukesh were approached for the role of Dr Richard.
