Director Selvaraghavan, who is helming Suriya-starrer NGK, has made a request to the actor’s fans, who are eagerly waiting for the movie’s release.
He posted on his Twitter page: “Humble request to fans. We have tremendous respect for you,but please remember that for one update we have to work so many days or weeks with all our focus and energy.”
The Kadhal Konden and 7G Rainbow Colony maker said further: “I don’t believe giving you an update just for the sake of it. We are all working hard and time will come soon.”
Suriya is said to be playing a rebel politician in the film, which has Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as the leading ladies.
Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, NGK has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Last month, Selvaraghavan said, “If I ever wanted work with some actor again it would be @Suriya_offl sir..”
He added: “Wow.. Taken aback and blown over by his performance!!! Only possible with so much of dedication and hard work.”
Recently, to mark the birthday of Suriya recently, makers of NGK released the second look poster of the movie. Also, it was revealed that NGK means Nandha Gopalan Kumaran.
The poster shows people’s celebration with scores of policemen in the background. However, it isn’t clear whether Suriya plays a revolutionary leader of sorts.
Notably, the first look poster showed Suriya in a Che Guevara-styled makeover. Directed by Selvaraghavan, NGK has huge expectations among fans.
