The heavy rains have affected the city especially areas like Perambur, Koratur, Anna Salai, Guindy, T Nagar, and Adyar faced waterlogging. State officials have evacuated several people and relief measures are on in affected areas.

SBI General follows a process of ‘Express Claims’ settlement in case of commercial claims for losses of up
to Rs. 10 lakhs for affected customers. SBI General will waive the paperwork requirement wherever
