Actor-director M Sasikumar has revealed why his upcoming film has been named as Kidaari. He says it means a rough and tough guy in Sattur region near Kovilpatti of Tamil Nadu.
“The hero’s name is Kidaari. He is a guy who will be casual, laughing with you and making fun, but his mood can turn in an instant and he can become really angry,” he says.
The teaser of Kidaari was released recently. The video was directly unveiled online and the clip has garnered good reviews from Tamil cine goers.
The film, which is also produced by Sasikumar, features Napoleon in a supporting role and Darbuka Siva as the music composer.
OAK Sundar is seen in the teaser, however, the heroine and the main protagonist are not part of the clip. The video does not give away anything about the storyline, but successfully evokes good response from the viewers.
Sasikumar began work on the film directed by Prasath Murugesan during March 2016 in Chennai. Sasikumar attained the title Kidaari from Samuthirakani, who had previously registered the title when making Kitna.
