The shoot of Vijay’s upcoming film Sarkar, directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures, is almost over but for a song and few important scenes.
According to sources, the song composed by Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman will be shot in the United States and it will be choreographed by Shobi.
“It is a peppy number and is going to be a memorable one for Vijay fans. Rahman has come up with catchy beats that would immediately strike a chord with everyone,” sources said.
Recently, it was said that Vietnamese actor Johnny Tri Nguyen, who made his debut in Kollywood with Suriya starrer 7aam Arivu, would the villain in Sarkar.
Interestingly, both 7aam Arivu and Sarkar are directed by Murugadoss. It was the filmmaker who felt that Johnny would fit the bill well for the negative role, sources said.
“Murugadoss has been impressed by his martial arts and has roped in Johnny for the project,” sources add. It may be recalled that the actor had als appeared in Atharvaa’s Irumbu Kuthirai.
Johnny Trí Nguyễn is a Vietnamese American actor, stuntman and martial arts choreographer who is mainly active in the Vietnamese film industry.
