Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan, who is wielding the camera for Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Darbar directed by A R Murugadoss, is all praise for the superstar.

After a break post the first schedule, Rajinikanth resumed the second schedule of Darbar in Mumbai where the film’s director Murugadoss is planning to shoot important scenes.
Rajini plays a police officer in this film which is being touted to be a stylish action thriller, Suniel Shetty and Prateik Babbar are playing the two villains in the film which also has Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, and Nivetha Thomas in pivotal characters.
Sources say that Murugadoss is planning to shoot the film only in Mumbai so almost all the scenes will be shot in the city. With music by Anirudh Ravichander and Santosh Sivan as the cinematographer, the film is slated to release for Pongal, 2020.
Many Bollywood faces have joined the cast of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming venture Darbar and the list includes Jatin Sarma and Pradeep Kabra.
Jatin wrote: “Words will fall short to express my feelings, my emotions.May be paragraphs or a short story or somewhere in near future in any interview I would definitely reveal how it was to meet this living legend, God of style, Love you @rajinikanth sir.”
Kabra, who plays a comic villain in Darbar, says, “I auditioned for the role, and I guess the director’s team liked my performance. They got me to meet Murugadossji and things fell in place.”
“I’ve done a few films in the south before, like Settai and Anjaan and the Telugu film Dookudu. My last film in Tamil was Kaala, in which I played Nana Patekar’s aide. I had the opportunity to shoot with Rajini sir then. So, on my first day on the set with him for Darbar, he spotted me,” he adds.
