Trisha’s long pending Paramapadham Vilayattu and Santhanam starrer Dagaalty will fight for honours in the box-office, as both films will hit the screens on January 31.
Directed by Shankar’s erstwhile associate Vijay Anand, Dagaalty has Yogi Babu playing a pivotal role. The movie is being produced by Santhanam’s own production house Handmade Films and SP Chowdhary’s 18 Reels.
Rithika Sen plays Santhanam’s pair in Dagaalty and Vijay Narain is composing the music. Besides this project, Santhanam is doing a movie with director Kannan and he is likely to team up with Rambhala for Dhilukku Dhuddu 3.
Meanwhile, produced by 24hrs Productions and directed by Thirugnanam, Amrish is scoring the music for Paramapadham Vilayattu. Pradeep E Raghav is in charge of the cuts and J Dinesh has cranked the camera.
The movie has Nanda Durairaj, Richard Rishi, Vela Ramamoorthy, and AL Azhagappan in pivotal characters. Touted to a forest-based thriller shot in Chennai and Yercaud, Trisha plays a doctor in the film.
Trisha is currently busy with a string of movies, including Saravanan’s Raangi, an action-adventure film Sugar with Simran, Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, Mohanlal’s Ram, and Chiranjeevi’s new film.
