Sai Pallavi hails Dhanush as mentor and wonderful co-star
Sai Pallavi, who has shared the screen space with Dhanush in Maari 2, has hailed the National Award winning actor as a wonderful co-star and mentor.
“Though Dhanush sir is a National Award winner, he treated me equally on the sets. In romantic scenes, Dhanush sir would look so deep in your eyes and get into your soul that we feel it very real,” she told the media.
The Premam actress added: “Thank you, sir, for being a mentor and wonderful co-star. He sometimes motivated me so much that I myself don’t know that I’m capable of delivering a better performance.”
Expressing gratitude to director Balaji Mohan, she said, “After the wrap-up, felt that I should continuously work with the team as they were super fun to work with.”
On her fans, she said, “Just a tweet of my fans would bring a smile on my face and they have so much power to change the lives of actors like us.”
Recently, there was a controversy involving Sai Pallavi in Tollywood, when Naga Shaurya, her Kanam co-star, felt slighted by her when she “displayed attitude”.
He also sounded that the actress is proudish because she thinks her films such as ‘Fidaa’ have worked only because of her.
However, Sai Pallavi’s Mahanubhavudu hero Sharwanand has lauded her as a sweet and highly-talented co-star with whom he would love to work with again and again.
“Sai Pallavi minds her own business and it’s not a big deal if someone is like that,” he said.
