Actor-director SJ Suryah has started shooting for his Tamil-Hindi bilingual Uyarntha Manithan with Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
Produced by Thiruchendur Murugan Productions and Five Element Pictures, Tamizhvaanan who made films like Kalvanin Kaadhali and Machakkaran is directing the film.
An excited SJ Suryah took it to twitter and shared photos from the location to share that the shooting of the movie has begun.
He said: “Happiest moment of my life … thank you God , mom, dad for fulfilling a dream which I have never even dreamt of …. 🙏 toThe evergreen superstar @SrBachchan , sharing it with our super star @rajinikanth & Dir @ARMurugadoss”.
Suryah also thanked Superstar Rajnikanth and director AR Murugadoss for making this happen. Soundar Rajan of Maattrraan and Romeo Juliet fame is cranking the camera for Uyarntha Manithan but the team is yet to announce the rest of the cast and crew.
According to sources, the Big B has given 40 days call-sheet for the movie. In August last year, SJ Suryah took to Twitter and released a video of superstar Rajinikanth unveiling the film’s poster, making the announcement about Big B’s debut in Tamil.
Speaking to the media, Tamizhvaanan said, “When I had written the script, I only had two actors in my mind- Amitabh and SJ Suryah.”
“Suryah was convinced and I am really happy that though it took us a while, Amitabhji is also on board,” he added.
For his part, Suryah said, “I have to thank the producer, Suresh Kannan, for relentlessly trying to meet Amitabhji. Even AR Murugadoss has a huge role in Spyder and also gave me Amitabh ji.”
He further said: “Uyarntha Manithan will be a bilingual in Tamil and Hindi. Tamizhvaanan worked nearly two years to assemble the project.”
