Actor-director S J Suryah,who is currently busy acting in a bunch of much awaited movies, has said he has plans to make sequels to his super hit directorial ventures Kushi and Vaali.
“While I would like to make Vaali-2 with Ajith sir’s son playing the lead role, I want Vijay sir’s son to play the protagonist in Kushi-2. But before that, I will estalish myself as a top actor,” he said.
Suryah is currently playing the lead role in Selvaraghavan’s Nenjam Marapadhillai, villain in Vijay’s next movie directed by Atlee and also in Mahesh Babu movie directed by A R Murugadoss.
He is a film director, screenwriter, actor, music composer and producer who has worked in the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries. Born in Sankarankovil,Tamil Nadu, Suryah did various works before joining film industry to become an actor but ended up assisting Vasanth and Sabapathy.
Surya made his directorial debut with Vaali in 1999 whose success catapulted him to stardom. His other notable films include Kushi (2000), New (2004), Anbe Aaruyire (2005) and Isai (2015).
He made his acting debut with New and went on to act in films like Kalvanin Kadhali (2006), Vyabari (2007) and Thirumagan (2007).
