Riythvika wins Bigg Boss 2, says she wants to inspire women

While some fans are upset with the fact that the season two of Bigg Boss Tamil has come to an end, some are quite happy as well because actress Riythvika has emerged the wner.

Riythvika on Sunday became the winner of the second season of Bigg Boss Tamil. She took home a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh and a trophy she received from the show’s host Kamal Haasan.

“My victory belongs to everyone. I want to be an inspiration for all the girls,” Riythvika said. Aishwarya Dutta was the runner-up of the Kamal Haasan hosted show.

Riythvika became very emotional and broke down. She thanked the audience for their continued support. Riythvika was one of the most likely contestant to be the title winner of this reality show. She received the highest voting percentage in comparison with the other finalists.

The actress had entered Bigg Boss Tamil 2 without much hopes. For the first three weeks, Riythvika struggled to be herself and lacked courage-spirit to show her character. In the following weekend episode, Kamal Haasan told her that she was just waking up and looked like she was finally entering the game.

What transformed Riythvika in the later weeks helped her to connect with the viewers. People started treating like her ‘Tamil ponnu’ (Tamil girl). She never had fights with others nor mouthed words which she could have regretted later. In the end, it became a cake walk for her, as people had no doubts about her victory.

Riythvika has done films like Paradeshi (2013), Madras (2014), Kabali (2016) and Onaaigal Jakkiradhai (2018). The actress has won Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Madras.
