Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Remo, which set the box-office on fire in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, will most likely be remade in Hindi.
At the success meet of the film’s Telugu-dubbed version, veteran cinematographer PC Sreeram hinted about the film’s Hindi remake.
Remo is written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. It stars Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh in the leading roles, while Sathish, K. S. Ravikumar and Saranya Ponvannan among others portray supporting roles.
Actress Sri Divya makes a cameo appearance. Featuring music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by P. C. Sreeram, the film began production during October 2015 and released on 7 October 2016.
The soundtrack composed by Anirudh was released on 5 September 2016. The album received positive reviews from both audiences and critics.
The film was launched in early July 2015, but was briefly delayed to allow Bakkiyaraj Kannan to complete the script and finalise the cast. Keerthy Suresh was signed on to portray the film’s lead heroine in October 2015, after Shruti Haasan had turned down the offer due to schedule conflict.
