Regina Cassandra is all happy since she recently danced with Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi for a special song in the latter’s upcoming film Acharya.
Expressing her happiness, she said matching steps with Chiranjeevi wasn’t easy because he’s so effortless at dancing.
“He doesn’t have any airs of a superstar. Throughout the song, what I observed, was he never goes back into the caravan after the scene but keeps talking to other guests and directors on the sets who come to meet him,” she said.
His humility and simplicity is what makes him a superstar,” Regina said. Talking about her experience from the shoot, she said: “I shot f or six days. Watching the ease and the grace in Chiru sir’s dance movements was very inspiring.”
Regina stated: “I remember, on the first day of the shoot, we shot for expressions. His expressions complemented his gracious moves. He said I am expressive too, and I was floored with the compliment coming from someone like him.”
Meanwhile, Regina Cassandra will be part of a multilingual, which has been titled Soorpanagai in Tamil and Nene Naa… in Telugu. The movie is directed by Caarthick Raju.
The director said recently, “Soorpanagai is an interesting character in Ramayana. We have read about how her parents consulted astrological charts to slot an auspicious time and star for her birth. She went through various emotional upheavals, has experienced love and hatred. But she was quite brutal, too.”
