Ever since superstar Rajinikanth returned to Chennai from West Bengal where he was shooting for his upcoming film, there were rumours that he would sack secretary of his Makkal Mandram, Raju Mahalingam.
Former Lyca Productions Creative Head, Raju Mahalingam, resigned from his position in the production house after Rajinikanth stepped into the political arena.
For the past few days, there were rumours that Rajinikanth had expelled Raju Mahalingam over misappropriation of Rajini Makkal Mandram funds.
It was also said that the ‘thalaivar’ had instructed his office bearers not to have any association with him thereafter.
However, V M Sudhakar, Administrator of Rajini Makkal Mandram, today issued a statement dismissing the rumors completely and said they were against the existing truth.
