Rajni not to float party
In what came as a devastating news to his fans and followers, Rajinikanth today announced that he will not float a political party.
In a statement released by the actorm he said that he is very much pained by the decision.
‘I know that this move will disappoint the people and I apologise for it. At a time when my health condition is so bad. I think I will not be able to carry out election campaign. When it is difficult to monitor a shooting spot with just 120 members it will be quiet difficult to carry out election works with the involvement of lakhs of people.
I am not interested in carrying out election campaigns just online as well. It will not fulfil the type of politics that I want to carry forward,’ he added.
He further said he does not want to make his fans and followers as scapegoat for his ambition.
‘I do not want to float a party just because I announced it. If I fall sick inbetween it will affect so many people who support me, both morally and financially and I do not want that to happen,’ he said.
It may be noted that announcement about his political party launch was scheduled to be made on 31 December.
