Rajinikanth’s warning message on Covid-19

Rajini Makkal Mandram founder and superstar Rajinikanth has urged people to follow strict physical distancing measure and to wear mask all the time as COVID-19 cases in Chennai keeps increasing by the day.

In a statement thanking his RMM members, Rajinikanth said the COVID-19 crises has been a major blow to even developed nations. “Please ensure that the need of your families are taken care of and keep them safe. If we lose our health, we lose our life,” he said.

Appreciating the efforts of the RMM functionaries, who had conducted several welfare activities for the needy, Rajinikanth said they should wear masks and follow social distancing to ward off Covid-19.

“You have to satisfy all the requirements of your family members, that is your priority. Under any given circumstances, don’t forget to follow social distancing and wear masks. If health is lost, life is lost,” he said.

He has also stated that the COVID 19 crisis will come as a huge blow anytime soon, and it will be bigger than what we are seeing now. He advised his fans to take appropriate social distancing measures while involving in relief works.

On the work front, Rajinikanth was last seen in AR Murugadoss’s cop drama Darbar. The film had Nayanthara and Nivetha Thomas as leading ladies. Darbar, which was a revenge drama had Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty as the main antagonist and Yogi Babu played Rajinikanth’s sidekick.

Anirudh Ravidhandar composed the film’s music.  His upcoming film is Annaatthe directed by Siva.
