Rajinikanth’s Coolie trailer launch date announced
Sun Pictures has officially announced that the highly anticipated trailer for Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will be released on August 2.
The announcement has set off a fresh wave of excitement among cinephiles, with the trailer drop coinciding with a grand audio launch event scheduled to take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
This double treat on August 2nd is expected to be a major pre-release spectacle, with the film’s entire musical album, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, being unveiled.
Coolie is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on August 14 coinciding with India’s Independence Day.
This film holds immense significance, not only as Rajinikanth’s 171st venture but also as a celebration of his remarkable 50 years in the Indian film industry.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has previously stated that Coolie will be a standalone film, not part of his popular Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), and has promised a “violent film” maintaining his signature action-packed style while also elevating the emotional and dramatic elements.
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Pooja Hegde, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, and a special appearance by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan.
