Rajinikanth to soon begin shooting for Thalaivar 170
Fans of Rajinikanth, who are buoyed over the super success of Jailer, have one more reason to rejoice.
His project with TJ Gnanavel, tentatively titled Thalaivar 170, will begin in a few days, going by a few sources.
The untitled film garnered good expectations among cinephiles ever since the announcement was made.
The director’s last outing, Jai Bhim, was a highly critically acclaimed film. The Superstar’s 170th project is touted to be a cop drama. He is said to be playing a character who raises his voice against encounter killings.
Amid reports that Amitabh Bachchan is playing a key character in the movie, the makers are yet to come up with a clarification on the same.
The names of Nani and Sharwanand are also doing the rounds. Fahadh Faasil is the latest to be joining the cast, if a few reports are to be believed.
