Rajinikanth supports Suriya’s stand on education policy

Superstar Rajinikanth has said another face of Suriya came to be known by all a few days earlier when he spoke about the Central government’s draft educational policy.

Speaking at the audio launch of Kaappaan in Chennai, Rajinikanth said that he too is of the same opinion as Suriya and he agree with many points raised by the Singam actor.

Rajini added that Mohan Lal is the most natural actor in India and that he loved the acting of Suriya in Pitha Magan and his younger brother Karthi in Paruthi Veeran.

In Kaappaan, Suriya shares screen space with Mohanlal for the first time. From the teaser that was released in April, we understand the Malayalam superstar plays the Prime Minister of India and Suriya will be seen as a special agent.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions and directed by K V Anand, this Suriya-starrer has music by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography by Prabhu.

Harris Jayaraj’s daughter, Nikhita, has sung a song, Vinnil Vinmeen, in Suriya’s upcoming multistarrer, Kaappaan. In addition, she has also appeared in a cameo appearance The young girl performed the song live in the film’s audio launch to big applause from the crowd.

It may be noted Rajinikanth, Shankar and KV Anand had collaborated for Sivaji which released back in 2007 while, Rajinikanth is currently working with Lyca Productions for Darbar and Shankar is collaborating again with Lyca Productions for Indian 2.
