Rajinikanth, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film to go on floors on this date?
Coolie will mark the first collaboration of Rajinikanth and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The upcoming project, which was earlier named Thalaivar 171, is touted to be an out-and-out action thriller with a touch of fantasy.
Earlier, it was reported that Coolie will start rolling on June 10, 2024, with a low-key pooja ceremony.
However, the recent updates suggest that Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ambitious film has been delayed, due to Rajinikanth’s busy schedule.
The grapevine suggests that the shooting of the action thriller has been rescheduled, as the veteran actor is yet to finish the dubbing work of Vettaiyan, his 170th film helmed by TJ Gnanavel.
If things go as planned, the highly anticipated project, which marks Rajinikanth’s 171st outing in cinema, will go on floors on July 1, Monday.
